what is in your lotion?

goat milk, water, preservative, emulsifying wax, steric acid, shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa butter, vitamin E and fragrance oil

should I refrigerate the lotion?

no, but it should be stored out of the sunlight in a dark and dry space. additionally, warm temperatures above 80 might cause the lotion to melt.

does the lotion expire?

For best results use your lotions within 4 months of purchase.

I have eczema, can this help?

This is the #1 question we receive, but we want to first remind everyone that we cannot make any medical claims, give medical advice, or suggest that our products cure or “heal” eczema. Eczema is a very complicated skin issue and there can be many different causes that are unique to each individual. Switching to all-natural products isn't always going to do the trick, but we will always encourage you to check out our unscented goat milk lotion to help seal in moisture and keep your skin hydrated all day long.

i have sensitive skin, can i use your goat milk lotion?

Absolutely!  Our lotions are incredibly mild and gentle.  Most commercial products use lots of synthetic ingredients that cause skin reactions. If you have allergies to fragrances, try our unscented. 

what sizes do your lotions come in?

All of our lotions are between 4 and 8 ounces. Each listing will list the size of the jar.

what kind of goats do you raise?

The farm is home to a small herd of Nubian dairy goats. We love Nubians for their personalities and larger size!

are the animals ever tested on?

absolutely not! We treat our animals like part of the family--literally.

sourdough starters

what is sourdough?

Sourdough is an ancient method of capturing wild yeast to leaven baked goods, used for centuries before commercial yeast was available. A sourdough culture is originally created by mixing flour and water and allowing the mixture to sit on a counter for a period of time to capture wild yeast.

how long will my sourdough starter last if not opened?

Packets of sourdough starter culture are stable at room temperature. For long term storage, place packets in the refrigerator or freezer.

do you carry a gluten-free sourdough starter?

Yes we absolutely do! Sourdough for all!

are sourdough cultures reusable?

yes, our sourdough cultures are traditional starter cultures and are meant to be re-used indefinitely.

how do I activate my dehydrated sourdough starter?

You will receive 10 grams of Dehydrated Sourdough Starter, fresh from our little farm.

It will come with instructions for rehydrating it and getting started when it arrives.

when will my order be shipped?

orders are shipped within 3-4 business days.

how is my order shipped?

We ship using USPS. The shipping costs are set by them and by the weight of your product. Orders are typically filled within 3 business days!

where is my order shipped from?

Right from our farm! We are based right outside of Kansas City, MO. Really- Our herd to your Home!

what type of payments do you accept?

Nearly any major credit card, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept PayPal, Google Pay, Venmo and Amazon Pay.  

what is the return policy?

Due to the nature of the product, we ask to be contacted within 7 days of delivery via email.

Any potential refunds will be issued once product is returned in its original and unused condition. If there are any issues with your order, please don't hesitate to contact us!
